This really bothered me when I turned 16. My hair seemed to be slipping away from me. Not all of it of course. However, there seemed to be some forest denudation starting on the top part of my head. And to think I wanted to have that long hair. But who cares right?
Wrong.
So, I suddenly think of hair transplant. But that’s too expensive for my age, if you know what I mean. If your still feel that you are on the process of growing up, there is a need to look always good. Unless of course, you have that I-hate-the-world syndrome so you are pretty much the exception. In desperation to cover that impending bald spot, I decided to plan donning the semi bald look, so that no one will notice. To my dismay, the almost no hair look attempt will be no good to my scar which I have been trying to hide for years.
So this is where I was at. Either grow my hair long to feel cool enough for the popular kids and of course, hide my souvenir scar or cut it down to the last inch so as not to reveal my balding crowning glory but show my scar which I think will raise a lot of questions. I went ahead to the thing I did best.
Research.
Well, boys with scars are always interesting. They have a story to tell. I could go for being mysterious as to how I got the scar and play it cool by telling a heroic story about how I recued some little girl back when I had my summer vacation on an island.
This is just the beginning of my hair-venture.
